Position: Overhead Crane Service Inspector Supervisor
Pay: $35-$40
Shift: 1st with OT

Job Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Overhead Crane Service Inspector with management/supervisor experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for inspecting, testing, and maintaining overhead crane systems to ensure they operate safely and efficiently. The role requires a keen eye for detail, technical expertise, and a strong commitment to safety standards and regulatory compliance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Inspection and Testing: Conduct thorough inspections of overhead crane systems, including structural components, electrical systems, and mechanical components. Utilize testing equipment to assess the condition and performance of critical crane parts.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate records of inspections, testing results, and maintenance activities. Prepare detailed reports outlining findings and recommendations for repairs or upgrades.
- Safety Compliance: Ensure that all inspected crane systems comply with relevant safety standards, regulations, and manufacturer specifications. Identify and address safety hazards and issues promptly.
- Maintenance and Repairs: Perform minor maintenance tasks and adjustments as needed. Identify and report major repair requirements to the appropriate personnel.
- Communication: Collaborate with clients and internal teams to communicate inspection findings, maintenance needs, and project timelines effectively. Provide technical guidance and recommendations to clients regarding crane system improvements.
- Training: Stay updated on industry standards, regulations, and technological advancements related to overhead crane systems. Share knowledge and expertise with colleagues and clients.
- Customer Service: Maintain excellent customer relationships by delivering high-quality service and addressing client concerns and inquiries in a professional and timely manner.
- Qualifications:
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent. Additional technical certifications or education in crane operation, maintenance, or inspection is preferred.
- Experience: A minimum of 3 years of experience in overhead crane inspection and maintenance is required.
- Technical Skills: Proficient in the operation of overhead crane systems and the use of inspection tools and equipment. Familiarity with crane manufacturer manuals and specifications.
- Safety Knowledge: Strong understanding of safety regulations and standards related to overhead crane operations.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to explain technical information to non-technical clients clearly.
- Attention to Detail: A keen eye for detail and a commitment to accuracy in documentation and inspection.
- Team Player: Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and clients in a professional manner.
- Certifications: Relevant certifications in crane inspection and maintenance are a plus.
