Shipping Material Coordinator
Shift: 1st
Pay: $18-19
• Ensures the efficient, timely and accurate receipt, storage, handling, kitting and
delivery of material according to established procedures
Primary Responsibilities
• Accurately inputs receiving and storage location data to the MRP system to
maintain inventory accuracy
• Ensures the efficient receipt and flow of raw material, purchased parts and stock
parts to minimize material movement and reduce cycle time
• Maintains orderly and organized shipping-receiving and stockroom areas
• Issues, kits and delivers material to appropriate area
Other Responsibilities
• Assists Material Support Level 2 as needed
• Ships invoice jobs, raw material and manufactured parts in a timely manner
• Responds to Part/Controlled Substitution Requests
• Provides input to improve procedures
Required Skill and Experience
• High school diploma or GED
• 2 years or less experience in profession
• Basic computer knowledge
• Lift truck driver’s license
• On road driver’s license
Preferred Skill and Experience
• Experience or exposure to computer data entry
• Experience in material handling
