Shift: 1st, (7AM – 4:30PM M-TH, 7:00AM – 11:00AM F)
- Conducting routine inspections and preventive maintenance on mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems to identify and address any issues or potential problems.
- Performing repairs and troubleshooting tasks on equipment, machinery, and building systems, such as HVAC systems, electrical systems, plumbing fixtures, and structural components.
- Responding to maintenance requests or work orders in a timely manner to address issues reported by employees or tenants.
- Conducting regular cleaning and maintenance of common areas, including restrooms, break rooms, and outdoor spaces.
- Performing minor carpentry, painting, and masonry work to repair or improve the appearance of facilities.
- Keeping track of maintenance activities, including work performed, materials used, and time spent, and maintaining accurate maintenance records.
- Ordering and maintaining an inventory of necessary supplies, tools, and equipment for maintenance work.
- Collaborating with contractors and vendors for specialized repairs or services that are beyond your expertise.
- Ensuring compliance with safety regulations and standards in all maintenance activities.
- Participating in on-call or emergency response rotations to address urgent maintenance issues outside of regular working hours.
To excel in this role, you should have a solid understanding of maintenance principles and practices, as well as basic knowledge of various trades such as plumbing, electrical, and carpentry. Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills are essential, and you should be able to work independently or as part of a team. Good communication skills are also important for interacting with coworkers, tenants, and contractors. Additionally, physical stamina and the ability to lift heavy objects and perform tasks that require bending, reaching, and standing for extended periods are often required in maintenance positions.
