Warehouse General Labor – Sign-On Bonus
$250 Sign-on Bonus
Pay: $16 hourly
Shift: 1st and 3rd
Responsibilities:
- Material Handling: Safely and efficiently handle lumber products, including loading and unloading materials from trucks, organizing and stacking lumber, and transporting materials to designated areas.
- Equipment Operation: Operate machinery and equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand tools to assist with the movement and storage of lumber.
- Production Support: Assist with production processes, which may include cutting, trimming, and sorting lumber according to specified requirements. Follow all safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.
- Inventory Control: Maintain accurate records of incoming and outgoing inventory. Conduct regular inventory counts and assist with restocking activities.
- Cleanliness and Organization: Keep work areas clean, organized, and free from hazards. Dispose of waste materials properly and maintain a tidy work environment.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all safety procedures and guidelines to prevent accidents and injuries. Wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) as required.
- Teamwork and Collaboration: Work effectively as part of a team to accomplish tasks and meet production goals. Communicate and coordinate with team members and supervisors to ensure smooth operations.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a labor-intensive role, preferably in a manufacturing or construction environment
