Process Technician

Location: Macomb, MI
Pay: $20-$27/hour
Shift: all shifts available
Currently working 10 hour days, over 40 hours is x1.5 pay, anything over 48.25 is x2 pay
 

Job Responsibilities

• Set up and establish molding processes for injection mold equipment.
• Must be able to see process from tryout to part qualification to ensure quality runs from molding equipment.
• Provide needed documentation for set up sheets, start up checklists, and first piece approval forms for operators.
• Ensure tool changes are done properly and in a timely fashion to reduce downtime.
• Responsible for getting those injection mold machines up and running with optimal processing for operators to complete jobs

Required Work Experience & Skills

• Must have 3 to 5 years of prior injection mold processing experience.
• Must have decent attendance history with high school diploma/equivalent 
• Ability to read, write, and complete general mathematics. 
• Must have an eye for detail and a strong understanding of molding methods and the plastics industry.
