Shift: 1st Shift (6:00am-4:30pm / Mon-Thurs)

Job Responsibilities

  • Develops and implements plans, programs and policies for monitoring and preventing EHSS incidents through a behavior-based safety framework.
  • Surveys, compiles, and analyzes data relating to environmental, occupational and environmental health issues to provide recommendations to realize year over year performance improvement in all EHSS domains.
  • Monitors the company’s environmental and health standards in compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
  • Provides technical and industry guidance to Sr. Management regarding EHSS compliance requirements and industry leading best practices.
  • Coordinates and facilitates administration of all matters related to Workers Compensation claims.
  • Requests, justifies, and manages capital expense projects related to EHSS.
  • Actively and visibly champions EHSS efforts through role-modeling, active content delivery (oral and written) and involvement with all organizational levels.

 

Required Work Experience & Skills

  •  Bachelor’s degree (B. S.) in a related field.
  • A minimum of 5 years’ experience in applied EHSS manufacturing environment or transferrable experience in related industry.
  • Synthesizes complex or diverse information to design EHSS workflows and procedures.
  • Identifies and resolves problems in a timely manner; gathers and analyzes information, develops alternative solutions.
  • Planning/Organizing – Prioritizes and plans work activities, uses time efficiently, plans for additional resources, sets goals and objectives & develops realistic action plans.
  • Innovation – Displays original thinking and creativity, meets challenges with resourcefulness, generates suggestions for improving work, develops innovative approaches and ideas.
