•Minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering Technology from an accredited institution
•A minimum of 1 year of experience in a manufacturing/industrial setting
•Troubleshooting experience in an industrial setting
•Proficient in 2D/3D modeling software, AutoCAD/Solidworks, or other applicable modeling software
•Employees must be legally authorized to work in the United States
•Essential Functions: The Mechanical Engineer within AEX requires technical and interpersonal skills essential to teamwork
•Mechanical engineering: 1 year (Required)
•Manufacturing: 1 year (Required)

•Working closely with production and maintenance to upgrade existing equipment, perform repairs, and install new machinery
•Supporting the day-to-day operations by acting as a resource for skilled trades and contracted services
•General duties for the Mechanical Engineer include but are not limited to:
•Providing high-level technical assistance to production/maintenance personal during both planned and unplanned equipment service interruptions, including after-hours or weekends
•Applying root cause problem solving (troubleshooting) techniques to find and eliminate sources of recurring equipment failures through creative, cost-effective solutions
•Working with other plant departments to identify, investigate feasibility, and/or create business cases to acquire funding for capital projects
•Managing capital projects from conception to commissioning, startup, and handover phases, including equipment supplier/contractor selection and BU level procurement interaction
•Developing and maintaining technical documentation (drawings, preventative maintenance procedures, start-up/shutdown procedures, etc.) for new and existing processes and procedures in the assigned work area
•Observing and supporting plant safety goals and initiatives
